Get Involved

How you can help the Ruth Ann Overbeck Capitol Hill History Project.

VOLUNTEER

Volunteer to record at least one oral history interview with a longtime Capitol Hill resident. We'll provide the equipment and show you how to use it.

HELP OUT

Help with interview transcription or other archival and managerial needs. Do you have scanning and/or photo editing skills? We often need help with images.

RECOMMEND

Recommend a Capitol Hill resident or former resident who ought to be interviewed for the historical record.

CONTACT

To volunteer or recommend an interviewee, send email to project managers Elizabeth Lewis and Maygene Daniels..

LECTURES

To be added to the electronic mailing list for the Overbeck Lecture Series or if you have suggestions of topics or speakers, please write to OverbeckLecture@CapitolHillHistory.com.

Donate

The Overbeck Project is a wholly-owned initiative of the Capitol Hill Community Foundation, and a donation to the Foundation can be earmarked for the Project. The Foundation relies entirely on voluntary donations, and all administrative costs are borne by the Board of Directors so that every penny donated goes directly to support projects in the Capitol Hill Neighborhood. The Foundation is a 501(c)3 organization and all gifts are tax deductible.
